Pictures and update

Things are going well at the Braatz home. Owen still has a bit of a cough that is just hanging on and just developed diarrhea and has had that since Saturday, knock on wood he was good this morning so we will see. It doesnt bother him though in the least bit, the other night he had 2 in his sleep and never woke up, we changed him and he went right back to sleep, seriously where did this kid come from! He is so much like his mommy it isnt even funny! LOL
We are all doing good, although sick of winter and the snow. I am looking forward to opening the windows and letting in the fresh air.

Now that our Trailer Show at my job is over, I can focus on moving Bailey downstairs and Owen into Baileys old room. It will be a big project and I am kind of dreading it, all of it!! My baby Bailey moving in the basement, Owen not as close to us in his own room..... that is alot for a mom to take in!! Brady seems to think he can move in the basement too, not happening until he is much older, much older! So that is my spring project for this year!

Bailey is excited to have made it to the state wrestling tournament in Rochester. We decided that this is Bailey's moment to shine so Brady and Owen will stay back with grandma and us 3 will drive down Saturday morning and spend the night in a hotel with all the other parents and thier children. Should be a good time. This will be Owens first night away from us and I am trying to prepare myself for it, he will be in good hands I know that, it is just going to be hard!

That is about it for me, until next time!

Just being cute!

Brady and Owen having fun with the camera

Bailey placing 2nd and qualifying for state

Trying rice cereal for the first time, didnt really like it, we will try again!

5 months old

Ok his birthday was on Sunday, but really it is impossible to get on the computer at home, so since I have a free moment I am updating now! 5 months old.... that is really hard to take in, I try to take in every moment I have with him because I know he will someday not want to cuddle with his mom anymore! :-( Makes me really sad he is growing so fast, he is growing out of everything I just cant keep up with the clothes anymore, pretty soon the poor peanut will be nakid! Any way just like every other post Owen is still perfect, he is seriously the best baby ever, he is always happy and always smiling and screeching like an "elk" as Rodney says, it is funny!! He hasn't rolled over yet which by now his brothers already mastered that at this age, but I am not worried, he has a bit of laziness in him that he gets from his father!

We tried giving Owen rice cereal but he really didnt seem too interested in it, we are going to try again this weekend and just to get him used to using a spoon.

Knock on wood I think everyone is on the road to getting better, Owen still has a little cough and Brady seems to have recovered very well with help from the shot he got! Bailey had the bug on Friday night, but was 100% by late Saturday morning, I just hope I killed it all with the crazy cleaning spree I went on Saturday morning!

That is all, I am hoping to post pictures of Bailey soon from his wresting tournament on Sunday, he placed 2nd and gets to go to state in Rochester in March so he is pretty excited about that!

That is all, until next time!

Enjoying the nice weather!

It was so nice out last Saturday and with everyone being sick we all went outside for a bit! Bailey and Brady actually stayed out for a few hours. Owen loved it, Bailey even pulled Brady and Owen in the sled for a bit! We are hoping to get outside again this weekend to get some fresh air!

Brave boys and on the mend!

We took Owen and Brady to our doctor yesterday and both boys were so good, you know Brady is sick when he is well behaved!! LOL
Brady had EI in both ears, the doctor said they were really red and gave him the option of medicane for 10 days or a shot, well Brady doesn't do medicane and I refuse to even try anymore so I talked him into the shot. The doctor explained that it was a pretty powerful shot and may hurt during and afterwards, but we decided it was for the best. He was so brave even though it took about 45 seconds after she stuck him to get all the meds in, he just layed there and didnt shed a tear, he was alittle red in the face, but oh so brave! Rodney is alittle concerned about that, but I think he is like his mom, he doesnt mind shots! So the only complain Brady has is that his leg is sore, I am very proud of him and I pray he is on the mend!

Owen just has a very bad cold, his ears and throat looked good, he said his airway is clear so we just have to ride it out. He was much better this morning though, he still has alittle cough, but his nose seems better! Owen had a shot too, they were out of the HIB shot so we thought since we were there we might as well, Owen didnt cry either!!!! Rodney held his one hand and Brady held the other!! What a brave boy, they so take after their mother!!! LOL Owen was 18lb and 26 3/4" long, so he grew alittle since his 3 month check up!

So I pray that everyone is on the road to recovery and we can kick this being sick thing that has seemed to take over our household! Fingers crossed!!

Spoke too soon!

My little darling Owen is sick! I picked him up at Janets on Friday and she said he just wasn't himself all day and he just go worse as the night progressed and the weekend. Stuffy nose, cough, low grade fever and just not interested in his milk. He is in really good spirts though, still smiling and giggling, nothing seems to slow him down! He is at home today with Rodney, I figured we mine as well keep him at home today since Rodney is at home, Owen can keep Rodney on his toes for the day! I hope it doesnt last long, I just feel so sad and helpless seeing him sneeze and cough! I have to say it was really hard to come to work this morning knowing that my baby is sick, but I know Rodney will give him lots of love and cuddles and Owen will tell me if he doesn't!

I just pray he is on the road to recovery!
