Brave boys and on the mend!

We took Owen and Brady to our doctor yesterday and both boys were so good, you know Brady is sick when he is well behaved!! LOL
Brady had EI in both ears, the doctor said they were really red and gave him the option of medicane for 10 days or a shot, well Brady doesn't do medicane and I refuse to even try anymore so I talked him into the shot. The doctor explained that it was a pretty powerful shot and may hurt during and afterwards, but we decided it was for the best. He was so brave even though it took about 45 seconds after she stuck him to get all the meds in, he just layed there and didnt shed a tear, he was alittle red in the face, but oh so brave! Rodney is alittle concerned about that, but I think he is like his mom, he doesnt mind shots! So the only complain Brady has is that his leg is sore, I am very proud of him and I pray he is on the mend!

Owen just has a very bad cold, his ears and throat looked good, he said his airway is clear so we just have to ride it out. He was much better this morning though, he still has alittle cough, but his nose seems better! Owen had a shot too, they were out of the HIB shot so we thought since we were there we might as well, Owen didnt cry either!!!! Rodney held his one hand and Brady held the other!! What a brave boy, they so take after their mother!!! LOL Owen was 18lb and 26 3/4" long, so he grew alittle since his 3 month check up!

So I pray that everyone is on the road to recovery and we can kick this being sick thing that has seemed to take over our household! Fingers crossed!!

Spoke too soon!

My little darling Owen is sick! I picked him up at Janets on Friday and she said he just wasn't himself all day and he just go worse as the night progressed and the weekend. Stuffy nose, cough, low grade fever and just not interested in his milk. He is in really good spirts though, still smiling and giggling, nothing seems to slow him down! He is at home today with Rodney, I figured we mine as well keep him at home today since Rodney is at home, Owen can keep Rodney on his toes for the day! I hope it doesnt last long, I just feel so sad and helpless seeing him sneeze and cough! I have to say it was really hard to come to work this morning knowing that my baby is sick, but I know Rodney will give him lots of love and cuddles and Owen will tell me if he doesn't!

I just pray he is on the road to recovery!

Wrestling and other pictures

This have been good here, I am getting spoiled though with Rodney being off of work due to his surgery, I have help in the morning and I am sure going to miss that when he goes back to work! We have had alot of sickness in our house this winter and it is getting old, I can disinfect every single day and somehow it still manages to sneak in! So far Owen has not caught anything, so I am praying that he stays healthy and can dodge it all!

Owen is still Owen, precious, sweet and perfect, maybe it is just because he is my baby, but he is just so happy all of the time and he LOVES him mamma very much, we are good buddies and we love our time together!

Brady has been the sickest in our house, seems like he has something every week, again very fortunate Rodney is home so Brady can stay home with him and try to get better! Brady did go out for wrestling, but decided it just wasnt for him at the moment, he says he will maybe try again next year. I am totally ok with that, it is hard to watch your child get beat on, probably even harder on his grandma! LOL Brady is loving school and his friends, he is learning to write his name and doing very well at it.

Bailey has developed a new additude, he thinks because Brady gets to stay home that he should beable to stay home too and does everything in his power to "fake" sick, very frustrating! Bailey is loving wrestling and has been to 1 team tournament in which he won 2 matches and lost 1. Rodney did take him to one singles tournament where he placed 4th place winning 1 match, loosing 2, Rodney said he did a great job and is really improving. I am looking foward to watching him during a home game.

Rodney is really improving after his surgery and like I said I am so thankful he is home to help me out while I work and to help me get all the boys ready in the morning, it gets alittle crazy trying to get all 3 ready and out the door in the morning. He will go see the doctor next Wednesday and I hope they tell him to stay off for another month, but that is not my call, I am just being selfish because I like having him at home! Although he would tell you a different story, he is kind of tired of being "daddy daycare" and would like to go back to work! MEN!!

I am doing great, I love being a mom to 3 and am so in love with the boys! I honestly can say that I have never felt this happy in my life even during the tough times! I have just been working and finally got back into kickboxing after the long holiday break, it feels good to be sore and sweat!

Weekend in Wisconsin

We had a blast this past weekend in Wisconsin at Rodney's dads house! We all got together for Christmas, it was a weekend filled with laughter, beer, good food, snacks, kids.... u name it! This is where I found them all after we got our new TV hooked up in the basement! GREAT!

4 months old

Last Thursday out little Owen turned 4 months old! I know I say this over and over, but I just can't believe he is growing so fast, I did ask the doctor for a shot to stunt him alittle, but he wouldn't do it!
Anyway, Owen is doing excellent! He is a big boy and weighed in at 17lbs, 4oz and was 26" long, both are in the 90th% for his age! He is right in the middle of the boys were, Bailey was 19 and Brady was 16, I just dont make small babies I guess!!

He is just so fun, he is not into grabbing toys and of course sucking on them or he loves to suck on all 4 of his fingers! He is so happy all of the time, loves to hear his voice and LOVES to be talked too. About the only time he cries is when he is hungry or has to be burped, then he gets pissed, otherwise he is just so happy go lucky all of the time! We couldnt of asked for a better baby!

New Years

Happy New Year to all, I hope all is well and everyone enjoyed being with family and friends over the holidays! I know that I did, I love being with family and of course all the yummy food!
We stayed home again this year and had my brother and his family over for a get together. We had a blast and didn't have to worry about anyone driving. The kids partied pretty hard and 4 of the 6 made it to midnight but then soon passed out shortly after.
