So I can still paint my toe nails, that is a plus, although it is getting alittle harder and just because they look good from my view doesn't mean that I did a good job!! LOL I am just glad no one looks at them up close! That is my accomplishment for the week I guess, pretty pathetic huh!
All looks well with little Scooter (LOL), I had my appointment lastnight after work. HB is 150 and she said everything is progressing really good, I go back in another 2 weeks, then I will start my weekly appointments. She did give me instructions and the number to the hospital if I were to go into labor now, plus she told me she wouldn't stop it if it were to happen. That is kind of scary! I know I won't go early, but it is just the point!
Accoridng to BBC the baby is approx. 4 3/4 lb and almost 18" long, isnt that wierd? I can totally feel it too, like I said before this kid is nuts inside and I think for the most part he is pretty much sprawled out and/or likes to stretch! One night he was really moving around, so I decided to play tag with him, he would jab me so I jabbed him back and then he would and so forth, it was funny, already alittle stinker!
So we made alittle progress on gearing up for this baby, we got the treadmill that was in our room moved back downstairs, thanks to our neighbors moving it for us! Yup that is our progress! LOL I plan to do some of it myself while Rodney is in Sturgis, in hopes I can find a dresser to match Brady's room, I can get his dresser moved in our room for the babies clothes, then I can wash all of our finds that we got from garage sales. We are not having much luck on the stroller/carseat travel system though. I was told Graco was a good one and every Graco at Target or Walmart was so something I didn't like. I do not want Winnie the Pooh or blue print or swirls, ect... I just want something plain for this little guy is that too much to ask for? I will have to check and see what Red Wing has I guess, Hastings didn't appeal to me at all! I am not worried though!
Weird how laid back both Rodney and I are about the arrival of this little guy, I am usually a planner and like to have everything ready and in tip top shape, but this time around I am the total opposite! LOL
Well I have babbled enough, until next time.....

Exciting! I have a stroller tip. With Jo I bought a Graco stroller and seat, same as you're looking for. I actually found mine on the graco website and then clicked where to buy. Turns out the one I wanted was availabe on-line only, so I ordered it! (same price as all the ones in the stores) Brown, and basic - just what I was looking for!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT KELLY!!!! I am off to check it out!!!!! YAHHHH!!
I can't even believe that time is flying by so fast - I still have another box to send you, I just haven't made it to the post office with it, I will I Promise!!
Hey Stacy- I'm with you not wanting a pooh one or some theme... we found a clearance one at Target and it's very simple - black and grey which I like.. It's an evenflow brand-- seems to work good, but I know a lot of people get the Graco one. Did you try Babies R Us? They might have Free Shipping sometimes. I might even have a %15 off one item coupon if you need it! : )
I have heard Evenflow is a good one too, I guess it doesn't matter, they all work the same I guess!! I will just have to get my butt moving and find one!
You could try checking on Craigslist. There's always a ton of travel systems on there and they're usually in pretty good shape. Unless of course you want something new. . .Lucy's not in her infant seat anymore, you could probably just borrow ours. You'd just need a graco stroller that it fits in (we use ours all the time). I'm pretty sure they're universal so it would fit in any of them.
Hey Stacy - it sounds like I have the same one Shelly does, Evenflow, black grey and red. No frills. I like everything about it except for the fact that you can't put a can on pop in the cup holder without having it spill all over. Poor Peyton got a face full of Mountain Dew, while she was sleeping, at the car show a couple of weeks ago. I would go for something with bigger wheels and such that will help absorb the bumps. Not like you haven't been down this road before....right.
I forget about Craigslist.. I will check it out, I would prefer something new especially for the carseat, you just never know, but worth checking it out.
Yeah sure I have been down this road before, but I am so clueless, keep in mind it has been almost 9 years since we have boughten anything, we used everything for Brady that we had for Bailey.... alot has changed in 9 years! LOL
