Update - finally!!

This is hard to keep updated, 3 boys sure do keep me busy!! LOL
Things are going excellent. Owen had is check up and he grew 2" and gained 2oz, which I am sure he has gained way more since then, the kid likes to eat and is developing a double chin! He passed his hearing test at United, which is a relief! He is just perfect in every way!

We got a tape from our neighbor girl, The Happiest Baby on the Block and it rocked! It talks about the 5 S's, well I have been using the swaddling technique and Owen has been sleeping at night like a champ! Friday night he slept for 6 hours, Saturday night he slept 8 and lastnight he slept 8 as well, I do have to say it doesnt get much better than that! Owen is going to be our good kid I think! LOL

I have posted some pictures of the boys, the ones of them all painted up are from the homecoming game this past Friday.

How do I pick just one!! LOL
Owen is so much more alert today, it is awesome! We talked for an hour and a half this morning! Anyways here he is....

Am I dreaming?

If I am please dont wake me! Seriously I feel like I am high most days, I am just in cloud 9 having Owen, he is just the most perfect little guy ever and perfect for our family! Exception when he pees on me or our bed, which he does often, and he really isnt fond of being nakid either!

Things have been going well, Owen and I have Monday and Wednesdays to ourselves, otherwise we are keeping Brady home the other days when he doesn't have preschool to save alittle money, so those days are alittle hectic and Brady keeps me going! Brady loves Owen and wants to hold and feed him all the time, Bailey will hold him when he wants too, which between football and school who has the time!? LOL

The no sleep is catching up with me and I often find myself on the chair sleeping with Owen, but hey if I can sleep I don't care! He is usually up twice at night, which isnt bad, tired or not I love to snuggle with him.

Instead of getting rest which I know I am suppose to be doing, I find myself doing things around the house, I even drive myself crazy! This morning after the boys got on the bus I shampooed both of thier rooms while Owen was sleeping... LOL I have a million things going thru my head what I could be getting done while Owen naps.... someone slap me!!! Oh well I love being off of work, wish I could stay home all the time! But for now I am going to enjoy it, the time is going to fly by!

I will post pictures in a bit, I better go check on my angel!

Gosh he's cute!

Bean is here! LOL

Typing with one hand is hard, but I just wanted to post a quick update. Owen Stanley Braatz was born on Monday at 12:08 and was 6lb 13 3/4 oz and was 19" long. He has brown hair like Bailey did when he was born and he is just perfect!!! We came home yesterday afternoon, I was going stir crazy! LOL He is just perfect! It took us until Monday night to figure out his what his name was going to be.... LOL, but I think the name Owen fits him perfectly. Brady still calls him Scooter! I have a million pictures and I will post later when I have a free moment!

Congratulations Hope, Chris & Lillyana!

Rodney's niece, Hope and her boyfriend, Chris welcomed a baby girl into the family on Thursday morning via C-Section. Lillyana Rae was 7lbs 9oz and 20" long and from what Hope told me and pictures I have seen she has a full head of dark hair! I can't wait to meet her! Congrats again to the entire family!

Week 39

I just had to do a double take on my work calendar, I am really 39 weeks today- 7 days until "D" day? That just floors me! But you would be proud to know that I let Rodney put up the crib on Monday, I was alittle leary, but I figured we had better with all the other things we had going on, it was the only day we could do it. So we re-arranged our bedroom and got the crib all set up, it actually looks pretty nice and not cluttered! We also got out the baby monitor to make sure that worked and he put together the bouncer I got from a very dear friend. So we are pretty much ready for his arrival! Scary! The only thing left for me to do is to pack my bag and I just made out a list of things that I need so this weekend I can put that together.

Here are a few pictures of the boys working hard! LOL

I think I would be ok with him arriving early, I am ready emotionally I think. I know my shirts are ready, they are all getting to small so part of my belly sticks out! Which is fine for the weekends, but I don't think my coworkers really care to see the real deal and exposure of my big ole budda!! LOL

Rodney thinks he is coming this weekend, which is ok, just not on Saturday - Bailey has his first football game, so Sunday would be good. I would prefer during the week though, the hospital has much better TV during the week and I am looking foward to relaxing in that nice hospital bed and watching all the good TV that is on while I am at work!! LOL I for one have September 12th picked out as his birthday, just an instinct of when I think he will arrive.

Other than that, I guess I have been feeling ok, lots of aches and pains at night though when I finally get to relax. Lastnight I think he wanted out and was trying to poke his butt through my right side, his butt was sticking out so far it was unreal!! Rodney thought it was the coolest thing, but was in pain for me! It was very uncomfortable and I had to poke it for him to re-adjust and stop pushing his butt out! Stinker!

Well I guess the countdown begins.... 7 days until "D" day, so we shall wait and see when he decides to arrive. I will update Friday after my doctors appointment, until then- later!

1st day of school

This was a very sad day, Brady started school! He just seems to little to even be riding the bus. I have had alot of anxiety about this day, but it went well. Brady got up without fighting me and we did our routine of getting ready and eating breakfast, it was nice and I am sure it won't last, Brady is SO not a morning person! Bailey was very sweet and said he would take care of Brady! I was waiting at the school for the bus to arrive and Brady got off and said "that was a long bus ride, I didn't even have to go potty"! Thank goodness, I never even thought of that! YIKES! I am excited to hear how the day went when they get home, hopefully he wants to go back! LOL

Getting on the bus at home

Waiting for the bus

Cute as can be

Do you feel the love?

Fun at the Zoo

We surprised the boys with a trip to the zoo on Saturday, it was a beautiful day, alittle hot, but we had a great time! Check out those turtles.... LOL

Fun with the belly @ 38 1/2 weeks

Each one of the boys got to "decorate" the belly before 'it deflates" ( I hope anyways). I think they all
had a blast doing it, we laughed alot! Even Rodney had fun and he originally thought it was a dumb idea!
