Week 25

Good lord this pregnancy is flying by, it is kind of freaking me out!
Anyways I am plugging along, the belly never seems to stop growing, seriously I don't think it can get much bigger, I know it can, but it hurts and I feel rather large already!

So I had my doctors apptointment lastnight, nothing too exciting. She measured me and I measured 27 weeks which means nothing... LOL and beans heartbeat was 142 bpm. We talked about getting a tubal, even though Rodney just got the big V a few months ago, she told me that the chances of me getting pregnant again with Rodney having the big V is 1:10,000.... my luck I would be the one!! The way she made it sound like it was a very simple procedure and would be done after having the baby, no restrictions, nothing. My worry was that I would have restrictions on lifting, well I don't not want to hold my baby because of that, so it is something I am serioulsy considering, if anyone has any input about, I welcome it!! My 3 sons will be perfect and honestly my body wouldn't beable to handle doing this again, so WE ARE DONE and forsure this time!!!

I just have a few stories to tell, they were both kind of an eye opener! As I was walking into the clinic a very pregnant lady with 2 small boys was walking out, she looked miserable and so ready to have that baby, I felt for her and wanted to give her a hug, that is what I have to look foward too in a few months.... oh boy!! Then once in line at the clinic there was a young mother with a newborn, couldn't of been more than a week old, he was crying his newborn cry so fast and so loud, I just stood there thinking oh lord, this is what I have to look foward to again..... seriously the clinic was an eye opener lastnight. Has it finally set in that we are having another one and that we will soon have a newborn in the house, I would be lying if I were to say I wasn't nervous and scared, because I am!!!

Until next time.....

Happy 4th Birthday Brady!!

So today my baby is "4", honestly didn't think I would be so emotional but I am and blame it on the preggo hormones! LOL I guess I am not sad he is 4, I am sad that he has to go to daycare and I have to be at work and we can't hang out together, although I know he will have fun at daycare with his friends. They all sang him Happy Birthday when we walked in this morning!
If I remember right Brady was born at 10:51 AM, it was a Friday and he was 6lb 14 oz and was 20 1/2" long. I remember watching the Prices is Right when trying to push and my doctor made me turn it off so I could concentrate! LOL It was just Rodney and I in the deliever room and my mom and Bailey were patiently waiting outside for him to be born. This started the adventure of Brady Lee Braatz!

I thought I would post pictures of him throughout the years. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Brady has a special afternoon planned, my best friend Jennifer is picking him up from daycare and taking him and Bailey to get an ice cream treat then coming back home for Brady's party. It is so funny because the boys usually fight in the morning, but this morning they were so in love, Bailey woke up Brady by telling him Happy Birthday and asked him if he wanted him to give him his present. Of course he did, Bailey helped him open it and even played with him. Bailey got him a bat, 2 balls and a baseball glove, Brady has been asking for it forever! It was a moment that is forsure, a moment that doesn't happen to often!!

EMS night at the Safety Building

This was something that the EMS was putting on lastnight so we figured we would go check it out, it was well worth it! The boys had a blast eating rootbeer floats, cotton candy, getting their face painted, coloring books. Here are just a few pictures that we took, I even got to get my face painted!! LOL

Week 24

I really don't have too much to say this week, things are going pretty much the same... tired, lazy, sick every now and again, I did get to finally vacuum and dust on Sunday, first time in 2 weeks!! And those who know me, know that I am a clean freak and am always cleaning..... well not this time around, we are taking it easy and am actually listening to my body and not pushing myselft!

Bean is still nameless, doesn't have a room and no where to sleep, thank goodness we have time yet. Even though I am such a planner and organizer, it doesn't really bother me this time around, must have something to do with having 2 other children and knowing it will all work out... hopefully anyways!

I am glad and thankful this is a 3 day weekend, I seriously need a day off of work to just do nothing, and honestly that is what I plan to do, Rodney doesn't know it yet, but he will be in charge all day! LOL We plan to just hang out, hopefully get out garden planted, have a picnic at my moms and do some yard work. I am also in the mood to have a bonfire just so I can make one of those apple pie things with bread and pie filling and of course smores!! I need to so stop eating like a crazy person!

Bailey is counting down the days left of school, not counting today, there are only 6 days left! How did that go by so fast, before you know it both boys will be going to school and I will be a mom of 3 boys! YIKES!! He is also looking forward to another year of baseball, as am I, I love to watch those kids play and Rodney loves to help coach!

Brady is preparing for his big birthday next Wednesday! I do have to say it makes me alittle sad he is already going to be 4, honestly seems just like yesterday he was born, I know everyone says that but it is the truth, he grew up way too fast! We are just having the grandparents over on his birthday to have a small BBQ and cake. He also got to invite his neighbor friend over who is 2 weeks older than he is, he is pretty excited about that! I am looking foward to making his day very special for him even though he has to go to daycare and I have to work, I will try my hardest to make it magical for him!

Until next time...

Brady singing Taylor Swift

So Brady and I are both big Taylor Swift fans, he just loves "Our Song" by her and wants me to play it all of the time in the truck. He calls the song "slammin' screen door" - that is a verse from the song! Here he is live singing it on Saturday on our way up to the Home Depot. Excuse me singing along, it was hard not too, plus I was trying to make him keep singing the song!

This makes me giggle every time I hear it!

Bean doesn't like yelling!!

Just alittle funny about the bean. Rodney and I were discussing a few things with Bailey about trading at school and we told him to go get his backpack and bring it to the table. Well he went to get it and tried to sneak in his room with it, so I yelled at him 3 times to get his butt in the kitchen with his backpack, bean apparentley didn't like mommy yelling at his big bother because he kicked me so hard it made my eyes water!!! I feel movement all the time, but nothing like that, holy cow! I think I read that at this stage they can't hear what is going on outside the womb, but I beg to differ! I do have to say that bean better get used to the louder voices, we have to use them alot on both boys!!! LOL

Week 23

Non pregnant people are so funny! We went to Bailey's wrestling banquet lastnight and I had on an outfit that really showed my belly and it is just funny to watch people (that we didin't know) look at your face then look at your belly then quick look away! Rodney even noticed it! I wonder what people think when they see "the belly" because honestly I don't do that to other people. I just found that very interesting and rather annoying, but then again I am easily annoyed lately too! LOL

So here we are week 23, not feeling too bad, occassionally feeling sick, but nothing like before, I think I can handle that! I feel pretty good for the most part, my belly does get really sore and heavy later in the day though and my back kills me! I don't remember that feeling this early with either of the boys, so I am alittle concerned about why so early, maybe I am just paranoid or maybe it is from all the weight I have gained, or maybe this baby will be a big baby! LOL

Speaking of that I got a letter from my doctor stating the last U/S was good and everything looked great! That was a relief to read that letter!! So my next appointment is not until the 27th of May, I was really getting tired of going to the doctor all of the time, so that will be nice to just go to my check ups monthly.

Finally the weather is getting nice out, I am anxiously awaiting to plant my flowers and to plant our first garden! We have never had a garden before so this should be interesting what the outcome will be, but it will be fun trying I guess! If it is a flop, then so be it I guess, we tried and will learn from that! Anyway that is our project for this weekend, should be fun and dirty, but I am sure the boys will have fun, especially my little helper Brady!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is such an interesting day. I usually end up telling the boys that they have to be extra special good on this day for me since every day is Childrens Day, they actually weren't too bad!

The day started off with Bailey making me breakfast in bed all by himself! Keep in mind Rodney was gone fishing so he had no help!! Bailey comes into my room with a tray (cookie sheet) filled with a bowl of cereal, peanut butter toast barely toasted, sting cheese and a cup of apple juice, what a wonderful little boy we have raised! The boys then had their last day of Sunday School which they were thrilled about, my mom gave me alittle break by picking them up so I had a few minutes to myself I decided to make some cimanmon rolls and serve them warm when they all walked in the door, so we ate cinamon rolls and strawberries. The boys and I then just hung out while I dosed on the chair for a minute. After lunch they begged me to take them to the park, I figured what the heck and we went, after the park we proceeded to visit the other grandmothers in our lives. By that time Rodney was home to watch the boys so I could dig and pull weeds by our rock and get it ready for planting flowers. The rest of the night was pretty much relaxing while chowing down a strawberry malt from the DI!! LOL

All in all it was a nice day, still nothing like kids day though!!!

Week 22

Why does pregnancy make you so crabby? Or maybe it doesn't and I am just crabby all the time, I don't like it and I am so mean to everyone and very bitter, honestly I am usually not like that, I am usually a pretty sweet person. Well hopefully that will come back after bean is born - sorry if it doesn't!! LOL

So here we are week 22 feeling pretty good, alittle tired and obviously as I stated moody, ok very moody, but honestly I think I have every right to be! LOL It is getting hard to sleep at night, but then again it has been for awhile, my back really bothers me and I toss and turn and get up a go to the bathroom several time, wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to get up and function every morning and throughout the day! The whole going to the bathroom every 20 minutes is for the birds, it is 10 times worse now preggo since I normally drink alot of water in the day, and when I have to go, get the heck out of my way and it hurts!

Other than that not much else going on, seems like May is a very busy month. Lots of activities at Baileys school, sign up for different summer things, weddings and wedding showers, all that fun stuff that keeps us going!

So until next week.....

Missing teeth

Too bad it isn't Christmas time!! LOL
I just had to post this. He lost one top tooth about 2 weeks ago and then the other one last week!! He is pretty proud of himself that he doesn't have any teeth in front!

Third U/S- He is growing!

We had our 3rd and hopefully final U/S lastnight, not that I don't like seeing the little guy, but it always scares me when they request additonal U/S's and testing!

We made a night of it, everyone went with me! I actually thought the boys would of loved it more than they did, but they were pretty mellow and really didn't ask any questions. The only question I got was from Bailey and I knew it was coming, "is it still a boy?" LOL She did check and he is still a boy!! LOL They both seemed ok with that even though Brady still calls him a "girl baby". She said everything looked good, he is now 1 lb and measuring right along with the due date. His heart rate was 144 bpm. So I guess we wait for the doctors to review it and call me to ensure that things are good. I love the waiting game!!

Another thing I always wondered, why does a person have to have an U/S with a full bladder? I about died yesterday when we got there, thankfully she was nice and did her thing and let me go and come back to continue! The boys thought it was pretty funny to see me suffer I guess! Stinkers!
